Royal Canadian Sea Cadets
Welcome to the Home of Sea Cadets in Pacific Region

Welcome
to the online home of Sea Cadets in British Columbia. If you would like to
find out more about this incredible, FREE program, you have come to the right
place. There are approximately 1400 Sea Cadets in 30
communities across BC having a lot of fun while enjoying the benefits of making new friends and being
a
part of a great team.
Sea Cadets in British Columbia attend weekly and some
weekend training at their local corps. They also have the opportunity to participate
in optional activities
such as at sea training, competitions, international and inter-provincial
exchanges, summer training and summer
employment.
Sea
cadets can earn high
school credits and apply for education scholarships and
grants. They learn how to sail, all about seamanship and the customs and
traditions of the Canadian Navy, and take part in outdoor adventure training.
Sea Cadets also have the opportunity to participate in optional training
such
as First Aid Band,
Drill, Marksmanship, Biathlon and the Duke
of Edinburgh’s Award Program.
