MILITARY WRITING ON-LINE LEARNING MODULE

Introduction

This set of web pages has been designed as a self-guided, complete on-line course of instruction in administrative correspondence, more commonly known as military writing. 

Its audience is intended to be officers of the Cadet Instructor Cadre who utilize military writing in the course of their duties. 

  

GETTING STARTED

To use this on-line resource, you are expected to:
  • have a basic understanding of PC type computers;
  • be able to use a web browser, and
  • be able to use Microsoft Word (MS Word) 97 or 2000.

If you do not have these skills then you may want to enlist someone's help to get started, especially if you intend to create documents in MS Word. You are also expected to have a good knowledge of English grammar, sentence structure and spelling.

After completing a particular segment, you are encouraged to test your knowledge by completing the on-line quizzes and activities related to the material covered in that segment.  You can find the link for the test immediately below the button describing the particular seqment.
